What is Memory Effect?

August 20, 2010 Blogzamana Android

A battery which is partially discharged some times does not fully discharge before recharging it once again.  It forgets to do so.  This is called as Memory effect.  For example, if you fully charge your mobile battery, and then use only some 50% of its capacity before charging it again,  the battery is not aware that it has 50% of capacity left which is reamined unused.  The battery will be working but with only 50% of its total capacity.  To solve this kind of problem, please discharge it fully before using it for recharging again.  This can be done by unplugging the device and use it till the battery completely exhausts.  This helps to keep your mobile battery healthy.

Hope you will follow this trick to discharge it fully before attempting it for recharging again.
